Woodlake's Got Talent!!

Does your student like to sing, dance or act?  We are looking for our most talented students to audition for WOODLAKE'S GOT TALENT!!

Auditions 3/10 - 3:30 -4:30 pm, 3/15 - 1:15 -2:00 pm, 3/17 3:30 - 4:30pm in Room 11

Auditions are after school.  Student will have to have transportation home to participate.  Serious applicatants please go to room 11 AFTER SCHOOL to pick up a form to audition.

Congratulations to the following parents.  They are the winner of a Safeway Gift Card for each month's drawing in our Parent Incentive Reward Program.

How can you win a gift card?  Ask the office for an "Incentive Reward Card".  You can achieve a stamp on your card for the following criteria:

  • Student has perfect attendance for one month *tardies and early outs are not considered perfect attendance 
  • Parent attends student/teacher conference
  • Parent joins /attends PTA/ ELAC Coffee & Conversations meetings
  • Parent volunteers in classroom for 2 + hours
  • Parent participates is school events (Back to School Night, Family Nights, Breakfast with Santa..etc)

When you meet any of the criteria, have your card stamped or signed at the event or by the classroom teacher.  Once you accumulate 5 stamps or signatures you will turn it into the office for a chance at a gift card at the end of every month.  You will receive a new card when you turn your complete card in.  All cards will remain in drawing throughout the year for a chance to win.  Will you be this month's winner??

Does your student enjoy going to ur Havest Festival?  Breakfast for Santa?  Play Day? These are all events that our PTA helps to put on for our school.  Without the parents we would not be able to have these events.  We need your help and involement to help plase these events for the future!  Join PTA and make a difference at our school!

Woodlake Elementary is a Uniform School

The Woodlake staff believes that every student should be allowed to learn free of distraction.  An environment, which is safe and caring, will increase our student's abilities to be as successful as we know they can be.  The following Uniform Policy has the support of staff, parents, and the TRUSD School Board.


Girls : Solid white or navy blue collared shirts.  Solid navy blue/khaki skirts, jumpers, shorts, long pants, or shorts.


Boys: Solid white or navy blue collared shirts.  Solid navy blue/khaki pants or shorts.


Not allowed : Jeans, sweat pants, leggings, athletic clothing, warm ups, sheer fabric, or velour.


Footwear : lace up or velcro sneakers are ideal.  No flip flops are allowed. Heels cannot be more than on inch high.  Socks must be either white or navy blue and worn at all times.
